The workshop was organized by BCRC-SEA & SCRC Indonesia and the Asian Network Secretariat on 19-20 November 2020 online.
The aim of organizing the Workshop is to increase the capacity of participating countries in implementing the Basel Convention and to facilitate the exchange of information in preventing the cross-border movement of hazardous and toxic wastes.
This workshop is divided into 3 sessions:
- Session 1 : Updating national regulations with a focus on plastic waste
- Session 2 : Implementation of Plastic Waste Guidelines from the Basel Convention
- Session 3 : Promoting the environmentally sound management of plastic waste and electronic waste.
