The on Development of Minamata Initial Assessment and Nation Action Plan for Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining in Indonesia was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Mega Kuningan in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 10 April 2019 and was hosted by the Directorate of Management of Hazardous and Toxic Materials, Directorate General of Management of Hazardous Waste, Waste and Toxic Materials, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Republic of Indonesia.
The purpose of this meeting is to obtain input from members of the national steering committee on the draft Minamata Initial Assessment (MIA) report that has been prepared and to determine the locations to be studied in more depth (in-depth assessment) for the report of the National Action Plan for Artisanal and Small -Scale Gold Mining (NAP-ASGM).
