Asian Network Workshop for Prevention of Illegal Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Wastes 2022 organized by BCRC-SEA & SCRC Indonesia and the Asian Network Secretariat and supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry on 1-3 November 2022 at the Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa Hotel, Medan, Indonesia. Funding for this activity comes from the Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ).<\/p>\n

The aim of holding the Workshop is to increase the capacity of participating countries in implementing the Basel Convention and to facilitate the exchange of information in preventing the cross-border movement of B3 waste.<\/p>\n

This workshop is divided into 3 sessions:
\n\u2013 Session 1 : Updating national regulations and Implementation of Guidelines from the Basel Convention with a focus on plastic waste and electronic waste.
\n\u2013 Session 2: Implementation and facilitating procedures for the person in charge.
